Living in the City of Angels

We lived in Bangkok from autumn 2024 to spring 2026. I took a number of photos during that time — this part features black & white film images.

I had always wanted to live in the City of Angels, but before that I could only stay for a couple of weeks. At some point, that wish was answered. It was a different experience: I loved many things, but it no longer felt like those earlier trips in search of “freedom" and It wasn’t the world that changed — it was us.

We lived in Ekkamai, and it became the area I knew best. I learned every shortcut and found my favorite places to eat along the way. The view from our condo rooftop was unforgettable, while the quiet side streets—shaded and overgrown with old trees—felt calm and intimate.
